Ambuja Cements Q3 net profit up 19% at Rs 292.5 cr

Ambuja Cements has announced its third quarter numbers. It has posted growth of 19% in its net profit to Rs 292.5 crore for the quarter ended September versus Rs 244.6 crore in corresponding quarter of last year.
Net sales increased by 15% to Rs 1,300 crore from Rs 1,130 crore.
According to CNBC-TV18 estimates, net sales were seen up 32% at Rs 1301 crore versus Rs 984 crore, YoY.
Its operating profit was seen up at Rs 473 crore versus Rs 355.6 crore. Its OPM was seen at 36.40% versus 36.10%. Its net profit was seen up 29% at Rs 316 crore versus Rs 244.6 crore, YoY. Its NPM was seen at 24.30%.
