GAIL Q2 net profit up at Rs 572.54 crore

GAIL has announced its Q2 FY08 result. The company in Q2 of current fiscal has registered net profit of Rs 572.54 crore versus Rs 448.40 crore in the same quarter previous year. During the corresponding quarters, its total income was up at Rs 4,710 crore versus Rs 3,870 crore, YoY.Gail (India) Limited has informed the Exchange regarding three press releases dated October 17, 2007, titled 1) "GAIL second quarter PAT up 28%, Turnover up 22%, GAIL first half PAT up 21%, Turnover up 13%"; 2) "GAIL to form JV for Vadodara City Gas; MoU with RCF for Coal Gasification proposed"; 3) "GAIL-RCF MoU proposed for coal gasification".
